CKMA12 On-Board Air Compressor

CKMA12 Air Compressor and Locker Wiring Installation
Step 1: Mount the CKMA12 air compressor securely in the vehicle.
Install the supplied air filter.
Connect the air hose to your differential locker.
Verify all fittings are tightened properly.
Step 2: Connect the main power wires.
Red wire → Battery Positive (+12V)
Black wire → Battery Negative (Ground)
Always connect directly to the battery using the supplied fuse.
Step 3: Install the relay.
The relay is pre-wired.
Simply connect it to the matching connector on the wiring harness.
No additional relay wiring is required.
Step 4: Connect the pressure switch.
The pressure switch connector is keyed and only fits one way.
This allows the compressor to automatically maintain air pressure.
Step 5: Connect the locker solenoid valve.
For a single differential locker, use:
Yellow + Black wire pair
Step 6: Install the switches.The harness includes:
Compressor switch
Rear Locker Switch (Switch 1)
Front Locker Switch (Switch 2)
Match each connector by wire color.
Step 7: Connect ACC power.
The ACC wire should be connected to an ignition-switched 12V source.
This prevents accidental compressor operation when the ignition is OFF.
Step 8: Test the system.
Turn the ignition ON.
Verify:
Compressor starts
Pressure switch cycles correctly
Solenoid clicks when locker switch is pressed
Locker engages normally
Pressure control switch, Relay and Waterproof rocker switch
Equipped with a pressure switch, the start/stop pressure can be set to achieve automatic inflation/stop without manual monitoring; combined with an 80A high-current relay and a waterproof rocker switch, it can withstand the air compressor's operating current and can be started and stopped with one button in the cab, making operation safe and convenient.
Complete wiring harness kit
The complete pre-wiring harness uses flame-retardant and high-temperature resistant wire. All terminals are crimped, allowing for direct installation with the corresponding plugs, without additional wire stripping or soldering; the harness length is suitable for most off-road vehicle engine compartment layouts, providing ample slack for neat and standardized installation.
Dustproof and waterproof filter cover
The dedicated dustproof and waterproof filter cover effectively prevents sand and moisture from entering the air compressor; the splash-proof shell can withstand off-road wading and muddy conditions, protecting the cylinder and piston from wear, extending the air compressor's service life, and reducing later maintenance costs.
